Fourteen basketball players have been granted scholarships to study and play basketball in the United States of America and Canada.
President, African Children Talents Discovery Foundation (ACTDF) Mr Noah Dallaji at a press conference held at the foundation’s head office, in Abuja, said, each player will be sponsored with $63,000 (USD).
“Nigeria can be great if we help the youths to discover their talents and support them to grow and achieve fulfillment”, Mr Dallaji said.
The 14 players were discovered at the recent legacy basketball tournament in Kano State.
The first batch of five players will depart the country at any moment.
