Lawmaker advocates more prayer for Nigeria

The Chairman House of Representatives Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values, Mr Olusegun Odebunmi, has called for more sacrifice and prayers for the country to overcome its challenges.

Mr Odebunmi, in a Sallah message says rebuilding Nigeria is everybody’s responsibility and Nigerians must all strive hard, work together to take Nigeria to a greater height.

The lawmaker said one of the means through which sustainable peace can be achieved in Nigeria was through self discipline and sacrifice as enunciated by Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.

The lawmaker who represents Ogo Oluwa/ Surulere Federal Constituency of Oyo state, harped on the need for all Nigerians irrespective of the ethnic identity to always see Nigerian as one and do away with anything that may threaten the peaceful coexistence of  their local communities and the country at large.

Mr Odebunmi urged Muslim faithful to always pray for the country, President Muhammadu Buhari and other key officers in government.
