African, Indian professionals explore cultural diversity

Institute of Electrical Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Young Professionals from Nigeria and Kenya have been part of the Global Outreach Initiative (GOI) organized by Kerala, India aimed at exploring and appreciating the diverse cultures from the participating countries.

At the webinar, tourist cites from the Calabar Carnival in Nigeria, to the Giraffe Manor in Nairobi with the sights and sounds of the beautiful cities across Kenya, Nigeria and India were presented by each of the Young Professional Chairs; Mr Kithinji Muriungi for Kenya, Engineer Haruna Danjuma Gana for Nigeria and Mr Nandan from Kerala.

IEEE Kerala Section Chair, Mrs Sarada Jayakrishnan stressed that the event was impactful and important in fostering relationships between young professionals globally.

In a separate address of welcome, the Nigeria and Kenya Section Chairs, Engineer John Adebayo and Mr Vincent Egessa expressed satisfaction that the participants would benefit maximumly from the programme and their respective countries.
