NSCDC arrest man for selling fake employment letters

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Kano State Command has arrested a staff member of the Kano State Agency for Mass Education, Abubakar Jibril, 33, for allegedly selling fake employment letters to unsuspecting job seekers in the state.

The Public Relations Officer for the Command, DSC Ibrahim Idris-Abdullahi confirmed the arrest in a statement made Available to radio Nigeria in Kano.

He explained that the suspect who lives at Dorawar Na’abba in Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area of Kano State was arrested on June 14 immediately after receiving information about his Activities.

The public relations officer maintained that the Suspect specializes in defrauding members of the public by promising to secure employment for them in NSCDC.

The suspect reportedly downloads fake application forms of the NSCDC and charges N10,000 each for every form.

The PRO added that upon conclusion, the suspect would be charged to court.
