300 households affected by insurgency receive relief materials in Yobe

Rich Aid Foundation has distributed relief material to 300 house holds affected by insurgency across three local government areas of Yobe state.

Presenting the Items to the Executive Secretary Yobe State Emergency Management Agency, the Founder Jack Rich Aid Foundation Comrade Murtala Gamji said the benefitting households were selected from Damaturu, Geidam and Yunusari local government areas.

Comrade Murtala Gamji explained that the donation is aimed at cushioning the hardship faced by the people due to insurgency.

He explained that the Foundation was motivated by the different Humanitarian interventions being offered by the Yobe State government aimed at cushioning the hardship faced by victims hence their  support to complement such effort.

Responding, the Executive Secretary Yobe State Emergency Management Agency, Dr. Muhammad Goje who received the donation on behalf of the Yobe state government appreciated the gesture noting that the donation came at the right time.

He further used the medium to call on the leadership of the foundation to extend the kind of gesture to the education sector by offering Scholarship to students of the state affected by the current security challenges.

Dr. Goje promised to distribute the relief materials as directed by the foundation.

Items Donated include Indomie noodles, Rice, Palm Oil and Detergent.
