A South Africa based Nigerian reggae musician, Ben Priest has launched a new album titled:Human Rights, in Abuja on Sunday, with a call on government to provide an enabling environment for Raggae to thrive towards and promote peaceful co-existence.
Priest, a Cross River indigene said he has spent most of his life in South Africa with his Mentor, Late Lucky Dube, and he deemed it fit to ‘come home’ to contribute to nation building through reggae.
He said Raggae was a tool for social change and development.
His Wife, Kineneye Isele applauded the decision of her husband to promote peaceful co-existence in Nigeria through his music.
“I’m very glad with him for that decision to come home, it is a time for Best Priest to revive reggae music in Nigeria”, she said.
