The Igbosere High Court, was burnt down during the EndSARs crisis will be replaced with six fully digitalized courts in Ikoyi.
Lagos State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Moyosore Onigbanjo, made this known at ministerial news briefing in Alausa, lkeja, as part of activities to mark two years in office of the Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu administration.
He noted that the court would be relocated to Osborne Foreshore Estate, Ikoyi while six of the fully digitalized courts would be ready by October, this year.
The Attorney General said the digitalization of ten of the state’s courts was ongoing and the aim was to enhance access to Justice.
Mr Onigbanjo also highlighted the Ministry’s effort to boost law enforcement agencies’ performance by building statement recording and interrogation rooms for the police to enhance prosecution of cases.
