The Nigerian Air Force is set to launch its telemedicine facility in Abuja to tackle the health challenges in the country.
The Chairman Organizing Committee for the Nigerian Air Force 57th anniversary celebration, Air Vice Marshal Hassan Abubakar stated this in Abuja while briefing news men on activities lined up to mark this year’s anniversary.
According to him, the facility would go a long way to address the health challenges of personnel of the service.
Air Vice Marshal Abubakar also announced that a new aircraft will be inducted into the air force fleet to enhance the fighting capabilities of the force in the fight against insurgency in the country.
The Chairman of the committee who emphasized that this year’s anniversary which will be celebrated in a low key, said there will be aerial display of some of its craft as the Nigerian Air Force Officers Wives Association would also embark on humanitarian support across the country to mark the celebration.
