The Abia state government has condemned the recent attack on the Mike Okiro Police Station located along Umuahia-Uzoakoli road, close to Ubani market by yet to be identified hoodlums.

Chief kalu warned those responsible for the attacks in Abia state would be apprehended and made to face justice.
He called on citizens and leaders to come together and workout modalities to end such mindless acts.
The commissioner advised law abiding members of the public to maintain vigilance and go about their normal businesses but to ensure they return home before the curfew hours of 8.00pm to 6.00am as the state government would not spare any resource in ensuring the safety of all citizens and visitors to the State.
When contacted in a telephone the Police Public Relations officer of the command Mr Geoffrey Ogbonna also confirmed the incident stating that investigation into the attack has commenced.
