Kaduna state government says five of the kidnapped students of Federal College of Forestry Mechanization have been recovered.
Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affair Mr Samuel Aruwan said In a statement that the students were undergoing medical check-up at a military facility.
No further details were provided.
Gunmen attack the college and kidnap at least 30 students early March this year.
State governor, Nasiru ElEufai had said he would not negotiate with or pay ransom to the bandits, saying proceeds are channelled into sponsoring the Boko Haram insurgency.
