Pres Buhari orders Service Chiefs to end banditry, Kidnapping

President Muhammadu Buhari has given a new matching order to the nation’s armed forces to urgently end banditry and kidnapping in the country.

The National Security Adviser, retired Major General Babagana Monguno, stated this in Abuja after he and the service chiefs met with President Buhari.

Chief of Defense Staff, Lucky Irabor, the Chief of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru; Chief of Naval Staff, Awwal Gambo, and the Chief of Air Staff, Vice Marshal Isiaka Amao were in attendance.

President Buhari is expected to proceed to London, the United Kingdom for a routine medical check-up, later today.

The President is expected back in Nigeria during the second week of April 2021.

Chief of Defense Staff, Lucky Irabor, the Chief of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru; Chief of Naval Staff, Awwal Gambo, and the Chief of Air Staff, Vice Marshal Isiaka Amao, and the Inspector General Of Police, Mohammed Adamu were in attendance.

Others are Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Chief of Staff to the President, Ibrahim Gambari and the National Security Adviser, Babagana Munguno.
