Nasarawa Gov receives COVID-19 vaccine

Governor Abdullahi Sule taking a dose of Covid 19 vaccine in Lafia.

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State and his Deputy, Dr Emmanuel Akabe have been vaccinated against the   COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking after receiving the first dose of the Oxford – AstraZeneca  in Government House Lafia , Governor Sule said the vaccine was very safe and called on residents to disabuse their minds against any doubts.

The Governor called on residents of the state expecially Frontline workers to present themselves to be vaccinated without fear.

He however commended President Muhammad Buhari, the Presidential Taskforce on COVID19, and the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency for their efforts to ensure Nasarawa state got the vaccines in good time.

 Executive Chairman of the state Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr Muhammed Adis explained that adequate number of personnel have been trained to ensure successful vaccination.
