The Panel Chairman, Justice Solomon Olugbemi explained that it was also discovered that Sergeant Olajide had fraudulently gotten himself promoted to the rank of Inspector.

He ordered that Olajide be immediately handed over to the State Police Commissioner for investigation, orderly room retrial, and prosecution for attempted murder.
