APC chieftain urges peaceful election in Yobe

A former Interim National Secretary of All Progressives Congress APC, Alhaji Tijjani Tumsah has urged electorates, politicians and all stakeholders in Yobe State to ensure peaceful conduct of the Local Government election slated for Saturday, Feb. 27th.

In a statement, Alhaji Tumsah emphasized the need for the electorates and all well meaning citizens of Yobe state to contribute their quota to the development and deepening of democratic culture in the state.

The APC chieftain enjoined the Yobe State Electoral Commission to provide level playing ground for all the political parties contesting and participating in the elections.

Alhaji Tumsah appealed to the youths in Yobe to shun violence and behavior that would constitutes threat to the electoral process in the state.

The APC Chieftain commended Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State and the National Caretaker Chairman of APC for his commitment towards bringing government to the grassroots.
