Employees have been tasked to be innovative in a bid to boost Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) in view of dwindling resources in the country.
This was the submission of the Deputy Director, Finance and Admin, Radio Nigeria, Mal Musa Bako during an engagement with the Nigeria Union of Journalist—FRCN Chapter, marking the first anniversary of the Sandra Udeike led administration.
Mallam Musa emphasised that a harmonious relationship between trade unions and employers was capable of boosting employees productivity and commended the NUJ leader for the concern the union had on the welfare of staff.
The Deputy Director who enlightened members on Financial Literacy and Engagement with the employer said, dialogue and continuous engagement should be encouraged to promote industrial harmony.
Comrade Sandra Udeike said NUJ-FRCN is poised to promote professionalism and the welfare of members for maximum productivity.
She said the union would continue engaging the management of the corporation in line with the motto of Radio Nigeria, “uplifting the people and uniting the nation”.
