Bauchi State Government has assured that the $18m World Bank Health Project, Immunisation Plus and Malaria Progress by Accelerating Coverage and Transforming Services (IMPACT), will soon takeoff in the state.
Executive Chairman, State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr Rilwanu Mohammed who gave the assurance during an interview with newsmen said Bauchi was second among the first 5 states to have fulfilled all requirements for the project’s implementation.
According to the Executive Chairman, the IMPACT project, unlike the just concluded NSHIP, is going to be implemented in all the 20 local government areas of the state.
The Steering Committee for the project would be inaugurated this week.
