Former APC scribe applauds appointment of Okonjo-Iweala

A former Interim National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Tijjani Tumsah has described the appointment of Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as the Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) as another feet that will propel Nigeria’s growth in the world economy. 

In a statement in Abuja, the APC chieftain also described the former Finance Minister as a worthy ambassador of Nigeria whose pedigree and experience will be put forward towards reforming the World Trade Organisation. 

Alhaji Tumsah also stated that her appointment gives hope to reward for merit and exceptional service to  father land.

He joins the family, friends and well wishers of Dr. Ngozi Iweala in wishing her a successful and productive tenure at the world Trade body.

The APC Chieftain commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his tremendous support towards the emergence of Okonjo-Iweala as the 7th Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO)

Alhaji Tumsah called on Nigerian women, African women and women around the world to support Okonjo-Iweala to discharge her responsibilities diligently.
