Police establish outposts in Zamfara

Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Command, CP Abutu Yaro has established two new Police Outpost in Kanoma and Janbako Villages for improved Security.

This was contained in a statement made available to Radio Nigeria in Gusau, issued by Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Muhammad Shehu.

The statement says the creation of the two outposts was to prevent attackes by bandits.

According to the command, Joint Security Operatives and Members of Special Constabulary Police have been adequately deployed to the outposts to take over security architecture and restore public safety and security of the affected communities.

He noted that, another Pin down Point has been established at Amumu Village and deployed adequate number of Police Mobile Personnel of 78 PMF Squadron, Maradun, Police Operatives of Federal Highway Patrol and Civil Defence Operatives.

He urged officers to work with host communities.
