NIMC head office closed

The Federal Government has closed the National Identity Number, NIN enrolment activities at the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) Headquarters, Abuja and reactivated 20 centers within the FCT.

In a statement by the Head Coporate Communication of NIMC, Mr Kayode Adegoke, the minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Pantami said the move is to make the process of NIN enrolment much easier from Monday, January the 18th.

It says members of the public, residents and visitors to the FCT wishing to enroll for the National Identification Number (NIN) should use centres in Wuse Area, Council Secreteriats of Abaji, Amac, Bwari, Gwagwalada and Kwali.

The statement also announced the opening of Special centres in Dei-Dei,
Dutse Alhaji, Gwarimpa, Lugbe, Jiwa, Kurudu Karshi amongst others.
