Kwara State Government says the state has recorded 36 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Spokesperson of the state Technical Commitee on COVID-19, Rafiu Ajakaye made the disclosure in a statement in Ilorin.
The statement says the state had so far lost 32 lives to the deadly virus.
The statement put the total number of COVID-19 tests so far carried out in the state to 12,832.
It added that the total number of negative tests since the outbreak of the pandemic is now 11,183.
The statement says a total of 1,179 people have been discharged, while 204 are active cases with 234 tests pending.
