The House of Representatives has urged the executive to introduce extra measures and more transparency in COVID-19 programmes.
The House also wants an expansion of the criteria for selection of would-be beneficiaries to accommodate more people.
This was sequel to a motion by a member, Mr Dozie Nwankwo on the need to monitor the distribution of post COVID 19 palliatives.
Mr Nwankwo, said the ENDSARS protests showed that some palliatives meant for distribution were still being kept in warehouses, describing it as worrisome.
Adopting the motion, the House resolved to setup a committee to liaise with federal government agencies in charge of the intervention and to ensure widespread distribution to the grassroots.
The committee isvto report back to the House within six weeks.
