The Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC) Reverend Yakubu Pam says the 2020 Nigeria pilgrims will be airlifted from Yakubu Gowon Airport Heipang Jos to Israel.
Reverend Pam, who stated this while inspecting facilities at the Airport, said adequate arrangement was in place to ensure a smooth exercise and there will be no need for pilgrims to travel to Abuja before taking off to Israel.
Secretary to the Government of Plateau State, Professor Danladi Atu who said it had been a priority of the Governor Simon Lalong led administration to have International flights at the Yakubu Gowon Airport Heipang noted that government will look into the challenges of furniture and scanning machines lacking at the Airport.
Manager of the Airport, Mr. Ayinla Olufemi said apart from the furniture and scanning machine lacking at the Airport, every facility was in place.
Mr. Olufemi who conducted the NCPC delegation round the Airport, inspected the departure hall, airport clinic, the VIP and the conveyor belt among others.
