Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has urged youths to always embrace dialogue as a way of addressing issues bothering on their agitations.
Speaking at a youth summit in Lafia, Nasarawa State Capital themed, “We Cannot Always Build the Future for our Youths, but We Can Build our Youths for the Future”, Governor Abdullahi Sule described youths as a vibrant force that cannot be shortchanged in governance.
He called on the youths to always hold in esteem, unity and growth of the nation above every other interest in their agitation for a level playing ground.
The governor represented by his Special Adviser on Youth and Sports, Mr. Kwanta Zakka commended Nasarawa Youth Initiative for Peace and Good Leadership, organisers of the extraordinary summit for coming up with such a programme which according to him, would create a platform for the youths to chart the way forward for a better nation.
President of the Initiative, Mr. Faruk Mohammed stated that the summit was aimed at promoting peace, unity and development of Nasarawa state through capacity building in youths for leadership roles.
