Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has urged Muslim community to use the period of Maulid celebrations to reflect on how to live an impactful life for the good of humanity.
This was contained in a Maulid message to the Muslim Community issued by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye in Ilorin.
According to the statement, the commemoration of the birth of prophet Muhammad also calls for deeper reflections within the human race.
The statement says the birth of Prophet Muhammad and his rise to prophethood, changed the course of human history and civilization forever.
It advised the Muslim community to take full advantage of what the noble messenger of God bequeathed to humanity in law, ethics, manners and relationships with fellow human beings.
