The chairman Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Kaduna state, Rev. Dr John Joseph Hayab has enjoined members of the Association in the state to remain calm and respect constituted authority especially at this trying time.
Rev. Hayab stated this during a zoom meeting with members of the Association in the state.
He lamented that the 24 hours curfew imposed in some LGAs has been extended to all the 23 LGAs in the state as a result of the current attacks on some private and government properties including looting of ware houses.
The CAN chairman assured his members that the Association will try by all means to reach the government in an attempt to short-circuit the curfew.
Meanwhile, he appealed to all ministers of God to closed down their churches in accordance with the curfew’s demand as law abiding citizens and major stake holders in the State.
He also appealed to Christian youths In the state to shun away from any act that will bring their service and worship to the mud as the body is on her feet to mediate for them and the entire membership.
The chairman regretted the level of damages done on personal and public properties and pray that the act will stop for good.
