The South/West caucus of the National Assembly has urged the Federal Government to fast-track implementation of programmes for youths empowerment.
Addressing newsmen on the #EndSARS protests and the violence that followed, the Lawmakers stated that this would reduce youths’ restiveness.
The caucus led by its chairman, Mr. Femi Fakeye, warned ‘miscreants’ not to turn the South/West into a battleground.
On the attack of the Oba of Lagos’ palace, the Lawmakers condemned what they termed the desecration of the cultural heritage of the South-West.
The caucus also endorsed the proposal to pay compensation to all victims of #SARS brutality.
