EndSARS protesters have been called upon to give room for the government to act on their demands.
Former Administrator of Benue and Kano State, Col. Aminu Isa Kontagora (retd) made the call in an exclusive interview with Radio Nigeria.
He noted that based on the actions of the Federal government, it was obvious that their voice was heard both by the States and Federal government.
While expressing sadness over the escalation of security challenges and break down of law and order in Lagos and other parts of the nation, the Former Military Administrator noted that this was a clear indication that the genuine course of the protesters was been hijacked by individuals and groups with harmful intentions towards Nigeria.
Reacting to the Lekki Toll Gate shootings, Col. Aminu Isa Kontagora (retd) called on the government to live to its duty of ensuring the safety and security of its citizens at all times and as such, an investigation into the shootings should be done.
