The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry say it will organize monthly auto auction in Abuja to help the lower class acquire vehicles.
The Director General of the Chambers, Victoria Agai made this known while briefing newsmen on efforts made so far for the auction.
She said the programme would help enhance the liquidity of the dealers of automobile who were affected by the Corona virus lock down.
The President of the Auto Dealer Association of Nigeria, Prince Ajibola Adedoyin said efforts were on to ensure that dealers do not sell cars not properly cleared from customs.
Our correspondent reports that the Auto Auction is first of its kind in the country.
