The Federal Capital Territory Administration says it is willing to partner with any developer that has the requisite knowhow to deliver on affordable housing ,as well as complete all abandoned projects in line with President Buhari’s directive.
The Minister of State for FCT, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu who stated this during a meeting with the Management of Tayan Group Estate Developer in Abuja, said the move is aimed at bridging the housing deficit in the territory.
She explained that such partnership would fast track the execution of the presidential mandate to deliver 5000 affordable housing units to residents of the territory.
The Minister said that the administration would only partner companies with financial strength to execute a project within 18 month period , to avert initiating another white elephant project that might not be completed.
Dr Aliyu who pointed out that she has noticed some projects that Tayan Group executed in the territory, reminded the developers that all property must conform to the Abuja Master plan development guidelines.
The Managing Director of Tayan Group, Mr.Tola Ayanlola, used the occasion to unveil the company’s “Project 10,000 Smiles Home for All” located in Kuje, and that the project was planned to accommodate all classes of people in line with the vision of the company.
Mr Ayanlola, maintained that FCTA would not regret partnering with Tayan Group as every segment of the project would be handled professionally.
