Participants of course 4, in the Nigerian Naval Warfare College are in Rivers State to have firsthand information on oil bunkering and pipeline Vandalism.
They are expected to give recommendations that will be implemented by the Nigerian Navy.
Commandant of the College, Rear Admiral Adeseye Ayobanjo met with Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike, in Port Harcourt.
He said the theme for this year’s study tour is, “Curbing Pipeline Vandalism Towards Enhancing Socio-Economic Development in Rivers State.
IGovernor Wike said people that sabotage governments effort to eliminate oil bunkering should be brought to justice.
He advised that the report to be submitted at the end of the study tour be implemented by the Federal Government.
