The Nasarawa state Governor, Abdullahi Sule has reiterated his administration’s commitment to continue to render selfless service to meet the aspirations of the people of the State.
Governor Sule made the commitment when the Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ presented him with ‘Champion of Continuity’ award, in Lafia, the State Capital.
Appreciating the award, Governor Abdullahi Sule said even though the award is coming in the early days of his administration, he would not relent in committing resources towards projects that have a direct impact on the lives of the people of the state.
The National President of the NUJ, Chris Isigozu who underscored the choice of Governor Sule for the award explained that it was due to his ability to make a difference in areas that are critical to the socio-economic wellbeing of Nasarawa State.
NUJ National Vice President, zone D, Wilson Bako and the state Chairman of the union, Comrade Salihu Mohammed Alkali highlighted the Governor’s intervention to issues of peace both within and outside the state.
The General Manager, Radio Nigeria Precious Fm, Alhaji Musa Abdullahi acknowledged Governor Abdullahi Sule’s uncommon attribute towards ensuring internal security in the State.
