Communities in Anambra state have been advised to avoid heating up the polity through town union affairs.
The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu gave the advice while addressing some residents of Ifitedunu in Dunukofia local government area who came to the Government house to register their grievances over town union executives in the area.

He noted that the Ministry of Local government and Chieftaincy Affairs would be directed to look into the development in Ifitedunu with a view to resolving it amicably in the interest of the people.
Earlier, one of the elders of the Community, Chief Obiora Ekegha said the people were in full support of the process that lead to the constitution of the present executives of the town led by Chief Michael Nwoye.
Another indigene of Ifitedunu and Chairman Accademic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Nnamdi Azikiwe University chapter, Dr Steve Ofuaro called on those peddling rumours that there was no peace and security in the town not to hit up the peaceful coexistence in the Area.
