Nasarawa Police to boost security with 8 divisions

Nasarawa State Police Command says eight Divisional Police Headquarters will be created in the state to ensure formidable security architecture across the State.

The State Commissioner of Police Emmanuel Bola Longe disclosed this shortly after an expanded security council meeting at the Government House Lafia.

He submitted that the decision to establish more Divisional Police Headquarters in the state is to strengthen the security architecture of the state to nipping security challenges in the bud

The Police Commissioner stated that the security council meeting also agreed that all the security agencies in the state would work in synergy to make sure that no criminal element has a hiding place across the State.

On his part, the Aguma of Bassa David Tukura said the expanded security council meeting provided opportunity for security agencies and the traditional rulers to work together and address security challenges bedeviling parts of the state.

Aguma of Bassa also commended governor Abdullahi Sule for organising the expanded security council meeting aimed at addressing security treats across the state.
