Christian Aid supports marginalised communities

Two Hundred Thousand adolescents and rural women are to be empowered under a sustainable inclusive development programme in Kaduna and Anambra states.

Programme Officer, Christian Aid Nigeria Mrs. Mercy Okeke who stated this at the launch of the programme in Kaduna, said the initiative was to address growing marginalisation and underdevelopment in the states.

She said the project, supported by UKaid, would focus on health, education, agriculture and infrastructure.

According to Mrs. Okeke, the organisation would leverage on already established Civil Society Organisations in Kaduna for successful implementation of the project.
