INEC holds bye election in Nasarawa

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is conducting bye-election for the Nasarawa Central Constituency at the State House of Assembly.

Voting commenced in most polling in the Nasarawa Central State Constituency Bye Election in Nasarawa State.

Radio Nigeria visited Ungwar Madaki 1 and 2 and Ungwar Dutse 1 and 2 Polling Units in Nasarawa East and North Electoral Wards, Ungwar Micheal in Nasarawa North Electoral Ward and INEC officials complained of malfunction of IPAD Machine for capturing voters.

There is low turnout of voters at most of the polling units visited this morning.

COVID-19 protocols were observed in most of the polling units as hand sanitizers, infrared thermometers, hand washing facilities could be seen in the polling units.

However few voters were not observing social distancing.
