Muslim faithful have been urged to take advantage of the Eid al-Adah celebration, known as the Festival of Sacrifice, to promote peaceful co-existence and good neighbourliness in the country.
The call was made by the Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Salihi Magashi (retd) in a goodwill message to Muslims on the occasion through his Special Assistant (SA) Media and Publicity, Mohammad Abdulkadri.
He said the Festival of Sacrifice offered a splendid opportunity for Muslims to render sincere prayers for the nation to overcome her security challenges.
The Minister assured Nigerians that the Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Muhammadu Buhari is deploying sufficient political will and all necessary machinery to decisively deal with all threats to national territorial integrity for peace and tranquillity to reign in the nation.
