Nigeria records 490 new cases of COVID-19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has reported that 490 COVID-19 new cases was recorded on Sunday in the country.

According to the NCDC, the new infections were recorded from 19 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

In a twitter handle of the centre, Lagos has 118, followed by Delta, Ebonyi, and the FCT which have 84, 68, and 56 respectively.

Others states included Plateau – 39, Edo – 29, Katsina – 21, Imo – 13, Ondo – 12, Adamawa – 11, Osun – 8, Ogun – 8, Rivers – 6, Kano – 5, Enugu – 3, Bauchi – 3, Akwa Ibom – 3, Kogi – 1, Oyo –1, and Bayelsa –1.
