President Muhammadu Buhari has advised farmers to embark on massive production of food this farming season.
Speaking after today’s Eid prayers with family members and some presidential aides at the State House in Abuja, the President warned that Nigeria had no money for food importation.
The President hoped that the raining season would be bountiful enough to allow for the massive production food.
President Buhari used the occasion to emphasise his advice to Nigerians to strictly adhere to guidelines and measures put in place against the spread of Covid-19.
The wife of the President, Hajiya Aisha Buhari, expressed gratitude to Allah for seeing the Ummah through the Ramadan Fast.
Hajia Aisha Buhari, who enjoined women to continue to be in the forefront of the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic, prayed Allah to forgive the sins of those who had lost their lives to the pandemic, and grant them Paradise.
