Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has called on Nigerians to be committed to prayers for their leaders to ensure peace and economic development of the country.
Governor Abdullahi Sule made the call after performing two Raka’at Prayers in his country home Gudi as part of this year’s Eid al-Fitr Celebration.
He emphasized the need for Nigerians in in spite of their differences to be vanguards of peace, tolerance and patience with one another.
Governor Abdullahi Sule enjoined the Muslim Ummah to demonstrate lifestyles reflective of the purpose of the Eid al-Fitr Celebration centred on brotherhood.
The Governor also said his administration would continue to prioritize programmes and policies that enhance welfare and economic status of people of the state.
Governor Abdullahi Sule said the state government would do everything possible to ensure completion of all projects started by the previous administration to avoid wastage.
