Ramadan: Jewish Foundation supports Muslim community with food items

A non-governmental organization, the Jewish Community under the auspices of ChabaAid Foundation has urged muslim faithful to reflect on the lessons learnt during Ramadan and intensify prayers for divine intervention over the dreaded Covid-19 pandemic ravaging the world.

A representative of ChabaAid Foundation in Nigeria, Mr. Israel Uzan made the call while donating Ramadhan meal parkage to Alhabibiyya Society of Nigeria in Abuja

He noted that the initiative was aimed at providing succor to the poeple particularly muslim to ease Ramadhan burden on them amidst this trying period of Covid 19 pandemic.

Mr Uzan used the occasion to call on muslim to continue to promote the spirit of love , peace and unity irrespective of religious and ethnic affiliations.

The National imam Alhabibiyya Society of Nigeria, Imam Fuad Adeyemi While receiving the items on behalf of Alhabibiyya Society of Nigeria which include, Cartons of rice, beans, noddles, vegetables oil as well grains, commended the organization for the gesture stressing that the support will go along way in strengthening the harmonious relationship between the organization and the country.

Also, the Chairman Foodbank of Alhabibiyya Society of Nigeria , Alhaji Faruk Suleiman expressed appreciation to ChabaAid Foundation for extending their Humanitarian program to Alhabibiyya Society.

He however promised to distribute the items judiciously.
