Zamfara state government has announced that it is taking sensors of all almajiris in a bid to return them to their states of origin.
Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle stated this at a broadcast held at his residence in Gusau, the state capital.
The governor also announced that its boundaries with neighbouring states would remain closed from today, Friday midnight.
He directed the Ministry of Justice to set up three Mobile courts in the three senatorial districts to prosecute the violators of the executive order which restricts going in or out of the state.
On the state of COVID-19, Gov Matawalle explained that the state government had procured over twenty thousand test kits and hand sanitisers for the prevention of the spread of the diseases.
The governor also directed that Tarawih and Tahajjud prayers should be done at home adding that guidelines for Ramadan Tafsir will be designed by the state Ministry for Religious Affairs.
