Re-run elections today were conducted in 11 states across the country.
Voting in process for the rerun and supplementary elections in Gamawa and Zaki federal Constituencies of Bauchi State.
Some of the electorates who cast their votes expressed satisfaction on the conduct of the exercise at Unguwar Waziri A of gololo ward in Gamawa Local government area.
They said accreditation of voters and voting process commenced at about 8 o’clock in the morning with Registered 723 voters.
Our Correspondent Adamu Gabi who monitored the election reports that there was no issue of card reader failure at the unit as large number of voters turn out to cast their votes.
According our Correspondent the situation is the same in Zaki Constituency where supplementary election is holding in four polling unit.
The Rerun elections taking place in federal constituencies in nine local governments area of Kano state commenced as early as 8am.
In some polling units monitored by our Correspondent in the state, people were on queue as early as 6am waiting for the arrival of INEC officials.
in Kofa Cikin Gari polling unit II in Bebeji local government area where the court ordered for rerun was for the whole constituency which includes Bebeji/ Kiru local government areas voters were in orderly manner.
Similarly, in other locations where election was taking place there was no any report of security breach across the state.
There are three national assembly seat, which includes Bebeji/Kiru, Tudun Wada/ Doguwa and Kumbotso were on contest.
