Nasarawa State Government says it will sanction any secondary school that engages in aiding and abetting examination malpractice.
The state Commissioner for Education,Science and Technology, Hajiya Fatu Sabo stated this at the disbursement of WAEC and NECO Registration Fees to over 22,000 final year secondary school students in, Nasarawa Local Government Area of the state.
Hajiya Fatu Sabo commended the law maker, Member representing Nasarawa Toto Federal Constituency, Mr Abdulmumini Ari for the donation of the fees, describing it as a major boost for the sector.
Hajiya Fatu Sabo, said the ongoing reform in the education sector in the state would not condone any form of malpractice that would constitute as setbacks to the process.
The commissioner explained that education was a huge project that needed contributions from all and sundry to achieve the desired results.
The benefiting final students were drawn from 30 schools in Nasarawa and Toto local government areas of Nasarawa State.
