Youth Leader of the area, Alhaji Saidu Hamma, said the situation was becoming a major source of concern for the community.

According to him, they are left with no option than to protest with a view to drawing the attention of the state and the federal governments respectively to rescue the situation.

He said, people in the area are being abducted and killed without any intervention despite their complaints to the security operatives.

The Chairman Gerei Local Government Area, Alhaji Judah Amisa, said  the situation was under control and appealed to the people of the area to remain calm and allow security agencies to carry out their activities.
