Nasarawa State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, Mr Philip Shekwo has reiterated the party’s commitment to providing sustainable infrastructural development especially at the grassroots for economic development.
Mr Philip Shekwo stated this in Nassarawa Eggon at a reception for over one thousand members of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) from Wakama Electoral Ward of the state who decamped to APC.
He pointed out that All Progressives Congress would continue to consolidate on its manifestos focused on poverty reduction and economic empowerment.
Mr Shekwo assured the new APC supporters of equal opportunities regardless of their status in the party.
Speaking on behalf of the new members of the party, Mr Bala John said they could not afford to remain in the opposition parties considering the people driven governance the APC administration in the state was providing.
Mr Bala John expressed gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for the award of contract to construct Akwanga -Wakama Road, describing it as a major boost in socio-economic development of the area.
