INEC to present appointment letters to Adhoc staff

INEC chairman Professor Mahmood Yakubu says twenty-six thousand ad hoc staff that will participate in the Kogi and Bayelsa States governorship election will be given appointment letters.

Professor Mahmood stated on Thursday when he stopped over at the INEC local government office in Koton Karfe on his way to Lokoja, Kogi state.

He explained that the appointment letter will contain a breakdown of their entitlements and avenue for complaints.

The electoral officer for Koton Karfe, Alhaji Mansur Sulaiman told the INEC chairman that they had made significant progress in the preparation for the November 16th Governorship election.
