The Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has called on Nigerians to continue to show greater commitment to the development and growth of the country.
Dr Fayemi, in Nigeria’s 59th anniversary message in Ado-Ekiti also congratulated the people of Ekiti State on the 23rd anniversary of the creation of the state.
The Governor urged the people of Ekiti state at home and Diaspora to join hands with government in repositioning the state to make it a destination of choice for investment and living.
Dr Fayemi said the present administration had laid a solid foundation for an all-round development of the state through urban, agricultural, industrial and human capital development.”
The Governor through his chief press secretary Mr Yinka oyebode noted that the various policies of his administrations have started to yield positive results which have improved the quality of lives of citizens.
The Governor urged the people to remain steadfast in the collective effort to make the country a better place.
