Siasia’s mother regains freedom after 70 days with kidnappers

Odoni Kingdom in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State was thrown into huge jubilation early this morning following the release of the abducted mother of former Super Eagles striker and coach, Samson Siasia.

Community members who gathered at her home to celebrate said 80 year old Madam Beauty Ogoere Siasia and two others who were freed after spending about 70 days in kidnappers den.

The other victims who also regained their freedom after being abducted from the town on July 15 this year were Selekere Dounana and Seiyefa Omonima

Though information about their release was sketchy as at the time of filing in this report, community members said they were hale and hearty on their return this morning.

A family member, Onyimiebi Siasia confirmed the release in a telephone interview with Radio Nigeria.
