Nigerians have been advised to engage in regular exercise to reduce stress and improve their health.
The WHO officer-in- charge in Nigeria, Mr Clement Peters stated this at the second edition of the “Walk The talk” health for all challenge in Abuja.
Mr. Peters said the Walk was part of activities leading to the United Nations General Assembly meeting on Universal health coverage to hold later this month.
The WHO Officer-in-charge in Nigeria also called for the sustainance of the exercise.
The President of Well-being foundation, a non-governmental organization Mrs Toyin Saraki who highlighted the importance of bodily exercise urged individuals to walk at least thirty five minutes three times a week.
She also admonished Nigerians to make exercise part of their routine.
