A gang of 4 suspected armed robbers on Monday stormed the office of the Nigeria Content Development and Monitoring Board on Opolo axis of the Isaac Boro Expressway in Yenagoa.
The masked suspects supposedly trailed a customer who withdrew cash from a bank and stole N1.5million.
Soldiers on guard at the premises opened fire on them, shooting one in the abdomen.
The other 3 ran away with gunshot wound clinging to the stolen money.
All exit routes around the area were cordoned off by policemen and soldiers causing heavy traffic congestion.
Meanwhile, the Spokesman for the Bayelsa Police Command, Mr Asinim Butswat said one suspect was in custody.
